Get ready for a spooktacular day of fun at Knollwood! Our annual Halloween Parade and Fall Festivities will take place on Friday, October 31st, following a staggered schedule:
Grades 3–5 Parade: 9:30 AM
Grades K–2 Parade: 10:15 AM
Students are invited to come to school dressed in their costumes for the day. Please ensure that costumes are school appropriate and comfortable enough to be worn throughout the day. Costume accessories such as hats or wings may be brought in and put on before the start of the parade.
👉 Costume Guidelines:
Costumes depicting violence are not permitted.
No weapons or toy weapons of any kind (guns, knives, swords, handcuffs, lightsabers, etc.).
Masks covering the eyes or impairing vision are not allowed.
Staff may contact parents if a costume is deemed inappropriate for elementary students.
Families are welcome to attend and enjoy the parade! Weather permitting, students will march around the blacktop area. Spectators should remain behind the designated viewing markers and stay off school walkways to keep the parade route clear for students and staff. If weather conditions change, updates will be communicated that morning.
Following the parade, classroom Fall Festivities will continue with crafts and activities organized by class parents and teachers. To ensure safety for all students, please do not send in additional treats or goodie bags. Students may bring a small treat of their own to enjoy during their class celebration.
Thank you for helping us make this a fun, festive, and safe day for everyone.
Happy Halloween! 👻
