March is Music in Our Schools Month, a nationwide celebration that highlights the importance of music education and the positive impact it has on students’ academic growth, creativity, and overall development.
To celebrate, some of our talented music teachers across the district have organized a “Music in Our Schools” Spirit Week. This fun-filled week will give students and staff the opportunity to show their love for music while celebrating the incredible role music plays in our schools.
Throughout the week, students are encouraged to participate in themed spirit days that highlight different aspects of music.
Music programs help students build confidence, teamwork, discipline, and self-expression. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and passion of our music educators who work each day to inspire a lifelong love of music in our students.
