We’re kicking off October with Week of Respect, a New Jersey initiative that focuses on creating a school environment where every student feels safe, valued, included, and respected.
The New Jersey Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act requires schools to observe the first full week in October as the Week of Respect and to provide age-appropriate activities that promote respect and prevent harassment, intimidation, and bullying (HIB).
At Knollwood, we encourage our students to:
Treat others with kindness and respect
Include others and celebrate differences
Speak up when something isn’t right
Be an upstander and support those around them
Help make Knollwood a safe and welcoming place for everyone
